"As an Extreme Marathoner, I know the importance of electrolytes. Prolytes keeps me running and running often."
- Dane Rauschenberg - 52 marathons in 52 consecutive weeks, 3.21 average time

"I've continued to have a great experience with Prolytes. I appreciate the fact that Prolytes has all natural ingredients and no additives like some other electrolyte replacement products. After putting so much time and effort into training my body I don’t like to put a lot of unnatural additives in it such as polyethylene glycol which is a listed ingredient in the electrolyte replacement product I previously used. I also like the fact that you can add Prolytes to water and replace your electrolytes without taking in a large amount of calories the way you would using something like Gatorade. Thanks for the opportunity to use Prolytes. I hope to have continued success with it throughout the race season. I rode 4 hours this Saturday and again on Sunday using the Prolytes... I was really happy with the product. I had no salty taste in my water and I felt hydrated all throughout the ride. No headaches or generalized fatigue from inadequate hydration. Thanks."

"I really enjoy the improved hydration of using Prolytes enhanced water because it prevents cramps on long rides. It goes down very easy without any salty taste. And I like the fact PROLYTES leaves no icky residue in my bottles or hydration pack."
- Jen Boffeli, 2007 Utah State Champion Pro Women, Salt Lake City, Utah

Hydrate for Better Physical & Mental Health

Dehydration is the loss of water and important electrolytes from the body, including potassium, sodium, chloride and other minerals. The healthy function of essential organs like the brain, kidney, heart and nervous system rely on sufficient water and electrolyte minerals.  In third world countries millions of people die each year from dehydration, and even in North America people suffer even when they aren’t actually ill from dehydration, it can really affect quality of life and performance.

Water makes up 70% of our muscles and about 75% of our brains. As minerals and water become depleted, muscle cramps, fatigue, and even muddled thinking can set in. Dehydration can diminish thought processes and memory, thus adversely affecting global quality of life. This should not be surprising considering that an imbalance in just one mineral can actually lead to substantial biochemical imbalances, thus maintaining and replacing the full array of minerals and trace minerals in ones daily diet is essential.

Everyday we lose about 2 cups of water from just breathing, so if it is not replaced a fluid and electrolyte imbalance will occur. Adding prolytes to purified water or other beverages will help you maintain a well hydrated body to perform at your personal best both physically and mentally.
